Celebrating

Happy Fourth of July Friends!

adore the fourth of July…I’ll let you know why when I have pictures tomorrow. Or if you are lucky enough to follow me on twitter, then you may be lucky to see some today.

Note: This is gonna be a short post because we all need to get outside and start celebrating.

I saw this picture on Pinterest this morning:

It got me thinking how 100% accurate it is for me. Every time I reach a new level I LOVE looking back and seeing how I got there in such a short period of time. One of my favorite memories of this is my first ever race, it was 5 miles and 6 weeks before that I couldn’t even make it around the track once. WOW. Like, I hate to brag, but that’s really awesome. In 6 weeks I was stubborn enough to train my body to go from 0 to 5 miles. Was I slow? Oh yes. But I never walked, I never stopped, I felt like death after… but then I was ready to do it all again, and more, the next day. What a great feeling.

What’s a moment in your life that this card reminds you of?

Other things:

1) Who ran a race today? Tell me about it.

2) Another favorite part of July 4th… the red, white and blue outfits- Tweet me a picture of your ensemble! I’m looking for inspiration!

3) Hamburger? Hotdog? or Veggie Burger?

I love that pin, I mean I think no matter what stage we are at there is always a point to look back and see how far we have come. I hope you have a wonderful fourth!
