Things I Love Friday

It’s that time of the week again! And before I tell you the things I love the most, let me tell you the one thing I hate the most right now- sleeping through my alarm clock! We’ve all been there, good thing I still have 1/2 hour before I need to get ready for work my job that pays me.

Things I Love Friday

1) Being a hand-me-down foundation

I will be having a fashion show tonight.

Sarah donated to my needs yesterday by bringing me a full bag of clothes. She knew I needed clothing but I think she is also trying to fulfill one of her goals of getting me to, at some point, where a blazer to work. It ain’t gonna happen- but I love the clothes!

2) Planned Date Nights

I love the Jazz fest, and since Pat and I get out at pretty normal times tomorrow we are going to hit up the city. This is a huge event, lots of famous musicians, beer, food- you name it. I think Pat is especially excited since I can’t drink, which makes me default DD.

3) Smoothies

Strawberry, Blueberry, Banana, Soy ?

I had been daydreaming about smoothies all week, so working by Colies Cafe yesterday was the perfect opportunity to get one. It would have been even more perfect if that made it right. I’m pretty sure there was milk in it and within minutes I threw up. So… why is it on my favorites list?  Well, after thinking about it- it was a really good smoothie and I want another, just made properly next time.

What do you love right this second? Big Plans for the weekend?

Dare #172

“Give a BIG tip today. Expect nothing in return”

My first thought with this was; money, but then I thought a little more. I wasn’t actually sure what I was going to do for this dare but around 8:30 last night it came to me. A coworker (younger) was complaining about living with his parents and I gave him a huge tip. I told him to love them, get to know them, someday they’ll be gone or he’ll be grown up and moved out and he will miss them.

This is a huge tip that I wish someone had told me when I was 17/18 years old, thankfully I figured it out by myself around 21. I didn’t expect anything in return from this (except maybe a punch in the face), I didn’t think he would go home, make ammends and come back to thank me. I hope that it is a tip that sits with him and when he’s ready to use it, he’ll know how.

Today’s Rule:

Dare #173

“Kiss someone’s hand like the Prince(ss) Charming you are.

I am not going to plan this one out either, I’ll just do it at the best moment- and hopefully get a picture!

Have a wonderful Friday friends!!!

I got a bunch of fun stuff from my sister earlier in the spring. I love me some hand me downs, especially when they are super cute skirts from ATL and an orange t-shirt that has a cow and pig dancing on it that say “I love carbs”. Woot!

A- you will wear a blazer… Of the khaki persuasion because it will be in your closet being ADORABLE and a size XS… You can’t resist the XS tag! Don’t feel bad, no one truly can!!!!

B- If you kiss my hand our friendship is over :)

C- what I love right this second is my new tank tops from Viewsport. I’m pretty darn excited to sweat in them…
